We currently have an open Part Time Carer position in Pangbourne for a willing and skilful individual whose expertise lies in the field of elder care and support. This is a Live Out position where the Carer will be required to work 3 days a week, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week. They are willing to offer more hours for the right candidate.

As a Carer, your main task is to assist the elderly person in the daily routines, accompany them to appointments and events, and make sure that they are always safe, happy, and attended.

You will be in charge with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
